Steadily sidelined in the Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United), the former party heavyweight and its long-time Delhi face KC Tyagi quit the parent outfit on Tuesday. “Ideologically there is no place for me here now,” said the 75-year-old, one of the founder members of the JD (U). George Fernandes was president of the JD(U) and Tyagi was the general secretary upon its formation.
