When it comes to Indian kitchens, plastic containers are one of the most commonly used storage material. While they are easy to care, unbreakable and have a longer shelf life unlike glass jars and ceramic containers, they also have a lasting impression on our health and overall well-being. From paratha, sabzi, to butter, cheese, and leafy greens, we store them all, and when it comes to school or office tiffin, we even store hot food in them without realising, they are turning toxic. According to experts, these plastic boxed may contain bisphenol A, or BPA, a chemical commonly found in older plastics.
