Delhi Police Crime Branch arrested Al Falah University Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui over alleged financial and administrative irregularities following a UGC complaint. Two FIRs have been registered for fraud-related offences. A Delhi court granted four days’ police custody. The probe follows ED action and scrutiny of the university’s funding and records.
