Army set to establish, operationalise first Integrated Battle Groups next month

The Indian Army is forming Integrated Battle Groups (IBGs) ahead of schedule, with the first units expected to be operational by July 1. These agile, self-contained brigades will be led by a Major General and consist of over 5,000 troops, including infantry, artillery, and support units.
