Australian AI infrastructure developer Firmus lands $10 billion debt package from Blackstone, Coatue

Australian AI firm Firmus has secured a $10 billion debt funding package led by Blackstone and Coatue. The money will support the next phase of Project Southgate to build AI training and inference data centres across Australia. Developed with CDC Data Centres and Nvidia, the project targets 1.6 gigawatts of capacity.
