Axis Bank CEO Amitabh Chaudhry said lenders will use foreign-currency deposits from the Indian diaspora to replace costlier funds and support lending growth. Backed by RBI measures easing hedging costs, banks are expected to deploy funds into infrastructure, data centres and real estate while also improving liquidity and deposit ratios
