The BMC plans to construct a new corporation hall on the municipal gymkhana plot next to Azad Maidan in Mumbai. With 237 corporators and future growth expected, the 132-year-old heritage hall cannot meet space and technology needs. Interim arrangements include shifting statues to accommodate members for upcoming House sessions.
