Cabinet clears Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme 5.0 to cushion MSMEs, airlines amid Gulf war

The government has approved a new credit scheme, ECLGS 5.0, to support airlines and small businesses facing economic challenges. This initiative will provide significant additional credit. Two new semiconductor manufacturing units are also set to be established. Additionally, railway infrastructure projects and a ship repair facility have received approval, boosting industrial capacity and employment opportunities across the nation.
