Central Govt Designates Mumbai's DFSL Kalina As Examiner Of Electronic Evidence Under IT Act, 2000

The Central government has designated DFSL Kalina in Mumbai as an Examiner of Electronic Evidence under Section 79A of the IT Act. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology notification allows the lab to examine and certify digital evidence for investigations and courts. The move will strengthen Maharashtra’s forensic support for cybercrime, fraud and technology-related cases.
