Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the School Management Committee (SMC) Guidelines 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. The new framework aims to strengthen school governance, community participation, student welfare, inclusivity and mental health support in nearly 15 lakh schools under the vision of NEP 2020.
