Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited (HPSCBL) clinched the top national spot for its outstanding execution of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, a key agricultural insurance scheme, during Kharif 2024 and Rabi 2024-25. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu commended the bank's grassroots initiatives for farmers.
