Himachal Pradesh conducted a mega mock drill on earthquake, cloudburst and forest fire to test disaster preparedness, led by Major General Sudhir Bahl (Retd) and officials from the state disaster management authority. The exercise focused on closing gaps in communication, medical surge capacity, evacuation, staging areas and protection of vulnerable groups to boost emergency response and community resilience.
