India's Defence Acquisition Council has greenlit procurement proposals worth approximately Rs 52,000 crore, bolstering the nation's military might. These crucial acquisitions span advanced air defence systems like Akash Tarang and MRSAM, potent anti-tank missiles, and sophisticated electronic warfare and surveillance technologies for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The approvals also include naval systems and a unique jet-based kamikaze drone, significantly enhancing India's defence capabilities.
