Ishan Kishan to lead SRH in early part of IPL 2026

Sunrisers Hyderabad has named Ishan Kishan as interim captain for the start of IPL 2026. Abhishek Sharma will serve as his deputy. This decision comes as Pat Cummins recovers from a back injury. Cummins will miss several matches while he heals. Kishan's leadership experience includes captaining Jharkhand to a title. He also performed well in the T20 World Cup.
