JICA signs Rs 6,100 crore loan pact for Bengaluru Metro Phase 3

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has provided a loan of nearly Rs 6,100 crore for Bengaluru Metro Rail Project Phase 3. This funding will expand the city's mass rapid transportation network by approximately 44.65 km with 31 elevated stations. The project aims to ease traffic congestion, promote regional development, and improve the urban environment.
