The Karnataka government has quietly approved building an international sports complex on 205 acres of Jakkur Aerodrome land in Bengaluru, reportedly bypassing public disclosure. The site houses a heritage flying school and is restricted to aviation use by a 2017 High Court order. The sports department has been directed to seek court clearance for the project.
