Madhya Pradesh High Court Reminds MP Speaker To Follow Supreme Court’s 90-Day Rule In MLA Nirmala Sapre's Defection Case

The High Court on Wednesday noted delay in deciding the defection case against MLA Nirmala Sapre and observed such matters must be resolved within 90 days as per Supreme Court guidelines. Hearing a plea linked to Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar’s petition, the court asked the Advocate General to inform the Speaker accordingly.
