The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chashak State-Level Volleyball Tournament 2026 began in Badlapur on Wednesday with participation from 384 players across eight Maharashtra divisions. During the inauguration, MLA Kisan Kathore announced plans for an indoor stadium in the city. Organisers said the five-day championship aims to promote Olympic sports beyond cricket.
