Maharashtra Resident Doctors Form New Committee For 2026-27 With Focus On Welfare, Safety And Academic Reforms

The Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors (CENTRAL MARD) announced its 2026–27 committee effective May 15, 2026. Dr. Atharva Shinde (RGMC Thane) was elected President and Dr. Sachin Palwade (Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai) as General Secretary. The committee will coordinate with DMER, MUHS, and institutions to strengthen resident doctor welfare, workplace safety, academic reforms.
