MP News: State To Lose ₹25,000 Crore In Five Years, Claims Experts

Madhya Pradesh may lose at least Rs 25,000 crore over five years following changes in the 16th Finance Commission formula. The state’s share in central taxes has been cut from 7.85% to 7.35%, with preference now given to high-GDP states. Experts warn this could slow development and strain health, education and infrastructure spending.
