NCERT’s new Class 8 book lists ‘corruption in judiciary’, ‘massive backlog’ as challenges

The NCERT has released a new Social Science textbook for Class 8 which includes a section on “corruption in the judiciary” and discusses the challenges faced by the judicial system. This is a significant change from the old textbook which only described the role of the judiciary without addressing corruption.
