Netflix has acquired the rights to adapt Harlan Coben's long-running "Myron Bolitar" book series, with actor Colin Woodell cast as the titular sports agent, a former NBA player. The mystery thriller franchise, spanning twelve novels from 1995 to 2024, will feature Woodell alongside co-stars KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero, and will be directed and executive produced by Greg Yaitanes, with David E. Kelley and Kyle Long serving as co-showrunners and writers. The series aims to bring to life Myron's investigations into murder and blackmail within the high-stakes world of sports, where he often risks his own safety to protect his clients, building on Coben's successful track record of adaptations on Netflix and internationally.
