Only 1 Indian institution features in global top 100: THE Subject Rankings 2026

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2026 show that Indian institutions have a limited presence, with the US and UK dominating the list. China is also strengthening its position in computer science, engineering, and physical sciences. However, IISc Bangalore is the only Indian institute ranked under 100 in computer science.
