Oxfam India activities are against country’s economic interest, MHA tells High Court

The Ministry of Home Affairs has accused NGO Oxfam India of conducting a negative and malicious campaign against the Assam tea industry and being a potential tool of foreign policy. The NGO has also been accused of funding and organizing protests against the coal industry, which goes against national economic interests.
