Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Auckland on Friday for a two-day visit to New Zealand, marking the first official visit by an Indian Prime Minister in 40 years. Welcomed by PM Christopher Luxon at the airport, Modi will hold bilateral talks, engage with business and sports leaders, and address the Indian diaspora to further strengthen trade, defence and strategic ties.
