Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a rare ceremonial welcome in Jakarta from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto as he began his bilateral visit to Indonesia. The leaders will hold talks to deepen cooperation in defence, maritime security, critical minerals, food security and the digital economy, while also visiting the historic Prambanan Temple before Modi continues his three-nation tour.
