Punjab Gears Up for Local Body Polls: Observers Appointed for Fair Voting

The Punjab State Election Commission has appointed 23 IAS and PCS officers as general observers to ensure the free and fair conduct of local body elections. Polling for 105 municipal bodies, including eight municipal corporations, is set for May 26 with vote counting on May 29.
