SEBI to launch tokenisation project in corporate bond market; risk evaluation process underway

SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the markets regulator will launch a pilot project for tokenisation of corporate bonds using Distributed Ledger Technology within six to nine months to improve liquidity and enable faster settlements.
