SKM Egg Products outlines ₹400 crore expansion to boost capacity

SKM Egg Products Export (India) Limited detailed a ₹400 crore expansion plan to add 20 lakh layer birds, increasing total capacity to 24 lakh. The project includes new EC sheds and a feed mill, expected to yield ₹150 crore in savings through cost mitigation and operational efficiencies. Funding involves ₹100 crores from internal accruals and ₹300 crores from low-cost borrowings.
