Sun Pharma is nearing a $12 billion all-cash bid for US-based Organon, in what could become the largest overseas acquisition by an Indian pharma company. After months of due diligence, the Mumbai drugmaker is lining up financing from JPMorgan, MUFG, Standard Chartered and Citi as it eyes Organon’s women’s health, biosimilars and established medicines portfolio.
