Thane Municipal Corporation plans to strengthen its understaffed sports department by creating one Deputy Sports Officer and two Assistant Sports Officer posts. The move aims to improve management of sports facilities, events, and talent development. After General Body approval, the proposal will be sent to the state government for final clearance and recruitment implementation.
