The Uttar Pradesh government has extended summer vacations in schools under the Basic Education Council and recognised institutions till June 24 amid severe heatwave conditions. As per the revised order, schools across Uttar Pradesh will reopen on June 25. The decision, taken under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, prioritises student safety, health and uniformity in the academic calendar.
