Vladimir Kramnik banned for 2 years, ordered to do 12 months of unpaid service

The FIDE Ethics & Disciplinary Commission has banned Vladimir Kramnik, former World Champion, from participating in chess competitions and related activities for two years. Kramnik will also have to serve 12 months of unpaid service and be on probation for three years. Kramnik has responded with tweets, stating that the verdict will be overturned.
